Rachael’s Bio

Rachael Crawford Goolsby is honored to be among the great community of yogis. Rachael began a practice of hatha yoga at age 16. Her father introduced her & her sisters to asana when she was small & to Eastern thought & religion in here early teens.

Rachael started teaching as a way of sharing this gift at age 19, but really began to blaze her path as a teacher when she attended Virginia Commonwealth University as a Dance & Choreography major, as a way of balancing her physical/spiritual life. Her practice has morphed through several styles, including Kripalu, Bikram, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, & Anusara. She enjoys working with all levels of ability & desire of students and encourages them to seek the path of their hearts.

Rachael is a North Carolina Licensed Massage Therapist, with certification as a Thai Massage Teacher, from Chongkol Settakorn from the ITM in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

She dances locally with the Dance Cooperative.
